Caprise CooperThis piece is from a new technique I learned two weeks ago. This painting is done on a 400 grain sanded pastel paper, watercolor wash then selectively covered in pastel for dramatic effects. The sanded paper is adhered to foamcore board and is not framed. I'll be doing more of these.
Mixed Watercolor wash on pastel sanded paper overlayed with pastels.
